My first Spanish talk!

I gave my first Spanish talk in church on Sunday in the Spanish branch. President had asked us if we would be willing to talk on eternal marriage and told me that it would be okay for me to give it in English. We both gladly accepted and I was talking to Colton on the way home and told him that I wanted to give it in Spanish. So I wrote down what I wanted to say and then Colton translated it to Spanish for me. I practiced my talk several times because I didn't want to stumble over any words. My talk was a success though and Colton did a wonderful job too as usual! I'm so grateful for this opportunity to serve in the Spanish branch and be such great people. I'll share with you my testimony in Spanish since my talk was 4 pages long!

 Quiero compartir mi testimonio y se que este es la iglesia verdadera. Soy tan agradecia por mi esposo y el entendimiento de que estaremos juntos para siempre. Siento agradicia por el evangelio y el gozo que me trae. Se que presidente monson es nuestro profeta viviente que nos guie. Digo estas cosas en el nombre de jesucristo, amen.

Homework Time

Today is such a beautiful day and Colton decided to take advantage of it.  He hates to be inside so he said he was going to do his homework outside.  So he grabs him a chair and a snack and he is ready to go!  He is too dang cute.  It didn't last very long but it was the thought that counts right?!

Emily's Party!

My best friend, Emily, had her bridal shower here in Provo and I was so happy that I was able to go!  The wedding is quickly approaching and she got some really fun things.  After the party we went back to her house and talked until almost midnight!  That is one thing that i just love about our relationship, we can just talk for hours and I love it!  I love you best friend and I am so happy for this exciting chapter in your life.  I'm so happy for you and can't wait till May 5th!!

Conference

Colton and I were able to go to Salt Lake this Saturday to go to our first conference in the conference center.  The best part was that Jake and Alex were able to come and share the experience with us!  We loved shopping and spending time with them this weekend.  I sure miss both of them and I just love every moment that I get to spend time with them.  Conference was great of course and it wouldn't have been complete without Colton falling asleep.   Hopefully he will be able to stay awake for the whole thing next time!  I loved hearing from the presidents of the church and feeling the spirit.  I loved spending time with my Mom and Mike while we were up there and loved spending time with Jake and Alex since they live so far away!  This has been one of the best weekends in a long time and very much needed.

I just couldn't pass up this opportunity. Haha
