Christmas in Arizona

After our Disneyland adventure, we all headed to Donelle's house for Christmas.  We opened presents on Christmas and Alex and I hit up some stores the day after for some Christmas sales.  We all loved spending time together and had a great time together.  Christmas Day we went out to the desert and rode four wheelers and went shooting.  I loved doing that!  I don't do that very often so it was fun and it was the first time that Alex had ever been shooting.  It is a Christmas tradition to see the Mesa Temple lights so we all did that the last night we were in Arizona.  Christmas was wonderful this year and couldn't have asked for anything better.

DISNEYLAND

Our family decided to go to Christmas this year for Christmas.  I am so glad my Aunt Donelle had this wonderful idea!  Colton had never been to Disneyland before so I'm glad after 25 years he finally got to go!  The first day we were there went went back and forth from park to park from 8 in the morning when they opened to midnight when they closed.  Lets just say that was the longest day I have had in a long time!  It was a blast but we were dragging the next day.  I loved every minute of it though and had so much fun with the whole family.  We never get to do anything like this so it was great to get away.  We rode just about every ride at Disnyland that we wanted to, and a few times.  There was this one ride, the big mountain railroad, that I went on over and over again.  Jake would just laugh at me for riding it so many times.  We all had a great time though and hopefully we will make it back one of these with our kids.

Early Christmas

Jake and Alex came tonight and we opened presents before our trip to California.  I am so glad when my family comes to visit me and so glad the spent the night with us.  We had a nice little dinner and then exchanged our presents.  Jake gave me some things to help me clean cars which I loved and they gave Colton a new hat!

 I was able to go to Idaho to spend time with my family for Thanksgiving.  My Dad and Deb came to Grandma and Grandpa's so we were able to spend some time together.  Colton had to work Friday so he was unable to come with me.  He has never been to Idaho before so hopefully one of these days we will be able to go visit Grandma and Grandpa. It was so great to spend time with everyone and I need to make a note to myself that I will never go to Walmart again on black Friday!  It was so crazy busy!  But, if it's a good deal I might not be able to pass it up.  I also was in a light parade Friday night and ended up in the Pocatello paper with my cousin!  That was fun and I'm sure the last time I'll ever be in the paper!  I had a great trip and can't wait to see everyone soon!

My best friend Emily and her husband Josh came down to spend the day with us!  Emily's birthday is tomorrow and I suggested that she should come down and hang out.  We had a wonderful day and I am so glad that they decided to come!  We went four wheeling, went for a little hike, saw the baby turkeys and played a lot of games.  I am so glad that I was able to spend the day with my best friend and her wonderful husband they are both a lot of fun and can't wait until they come down again!  Emily and I have shared quite a few birthdays together but I'm looking forward to spending many more birthdays with her!  I love you best friend and I am so thankful for your friendship!   Happy birthday!

1st Snow!

Well, today was our first snow!  It's only October but I guess the weather has decided it's time to snow.  I like the snow I'm just not looking forward to the colder weather.  Oh well, I guess Utah does have four seasons.  It was sure pretty though and the flakes were so big!  I sure do love when it snows I just wish it could be warm when it snowed.  Then that would be perfect!

Halloween Party

Kylee's in-laws always have a Halloween party every year so we decided to join the fun!  I'm not really sure what you would call our costumes but I guess we would be a flashback from the 70's or something like that.  Colton borrowed his uncles prom suit and I wore one of Grandma's old dresses.  I'm not really one to go all out and dress up but it was fun.

Today I crafted with all my in-laws and had a blast.  I love to craft and we all made a "monster" today.  I had the hardest time picking out all the paper though and that should have been the easiest part!  But, I had a fun time and it turned out super cute.  I thought it would only take an hour or two but it took me about five!  It was fun to say the least though and  I can't wait until the next time we craft.

Apparently this was one of Colton's favorite things to do when he was younger so he decided to teach the boys!  We were watching the boys for a while and took them on a ranger ride.  Our last stop was the hay bails and the boys loved it!  They were so excited and  I think we might have to do this every time we watch them now!

Visit to CO!

Colton and I were able to go to Colorado to visit with my family for a week and we had a great time!  We just relaxed and played games every night which I loved!  We would stay up all night playing card games and dominios and had a blast.  We also went to the lake the one day and LOVED that.  I love the lake and I love to air chair.  I would love to live on a lake if I could!  Colton, Jake, and Zach all built a wakeboard and snowboard bench the one day.  Oh the things that they like to do... My cousin, Ashlyn, was also there visiting so we had a fun time to say the least!

The old man had a birthday!

Colton turned 25 today!!  He spent all day working at the farm since his dad was in Alaska and I don't think he would have rather done anything else.  We had a little cake and then he opened his presents and let me tell you he was very excited!  Although I hid his present and he happened to find it so he already knew what he was getting but he didn't care.  His has been wanting these drills for a while now!  I think it was a pretty good day.

Melissa's Wedding

I was so happy to be able to go to my cousins wedding today!  I hadn't seen her for about 2 years so it was fun to visit with her for a little bit.  She was so beautiful and I am so happy for her!  I was excited that my mom was able to come to the wedding too so I could see her!  Congrats Melissa!  Love you.

Bear Lake!

This weekend we went to Bear Lake for our annual family reunion!  We had so much fun and I didn't want it to end.  The weather wasn't the best because it decided to rain everyday while we were there but we still had fun.  This is my favorite trip of the whole year.  I love the boat and I love to go air chairing.  I would go everyday if I could!  I loved spending time with my family and can't wait to see you all again in February!

Birthday!

I was so fortunate to have Jake and Alex here for my birthday.  I couldn't have asked for anything better!  It was fun to visit with them and while they were here we had to show them the farm and the turkeys.  Alex loved the baby ones and didn't get too close to the bigger ones which I don't blame her.  I don't like the big ones either.  Then we saddled up the horses and went for a little ride which was fun!  They are going to have to come back so we can go riding in the mountains!  I'm glad they came to visit and can't wait until they come back!  Love you guys.
